On February 11, CCSC received the framework container inspection application consultation issued by OOCL OAKLAND shipowners, hoping that our company will conduct regular inspection at Shenzhen Shekou Container Terminal on February 15. After receiving the application, CCSC actively conducts business review, repeatedly confirms the physical condition with the surveyor, and confirms the inspection requirements.
According to the requirements of CCSCs on-site safety protection guidelines during the outbreak, the surveyor did his own protection and arrived at Shenzhen Shekou Container Terminal on time on February 15 for regular inspection of platform frame containers. The surveyor first initially confirmed the status of the container on board, and then asked the crew to remove the frame box from the dock for formal inspection.
Due to the tension of the epidemic, the dock security department asked the crew to forbid disembarkation without temperature testing, and the surveyor took the initiative to assist the foreign crew of the ship in consultation with the dock to obtain dock support in a timely manner, and the crew was allowed to disembark after passing the temperature test. After on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the main structure and functional status of the batch of containers met the specification requirements, and the surveyor promptly issued a new regular inspection label and stamped it with the China Classification Society seal, thus avoiding the risk of seizure of the batch of containers.
