On June 27, 2025, the Technical Center organized an expert review meeting on "Guidelines for Quantitative Risk Assessment of Hazardous Chemicals Transportation" and "Guidelines for Inspection of Onshore Oil and Gas Pipelines in Service" at the companys headquarters. Five industry experts from inside and outside the company and members of the technical centers guide preparation team attended the meeting. After discussion at the meeting, expert inquiries and replies, the two guidelines have successfully passed the expert review, marking the initial formation of the companys oil and gas pipeline integrity management technical specification system.
The Guidelines for Quantitative Risk Assessment of Hazardous Chemicals Transportation and the Guidelines for Inspection of Onshore Oil and Gas Pipelines in Service are compiled by the Technical Center, which are the results of the scientific research project of Integrity Management of CJ202101 Oil and Gas Pipelines-Identification and Quantitative Risk Assessment of High Consequence Areas, and Development of Technical Scheme for Inspection of In-Service Pipelines. The two guidelines can provide technical support for the company to carry out quantitative risk assessment of onshore oil and gas stations and the transportation of hazardous chemicals, as well as the third-party technical service business of internal and external inspection supervision and inspection of long-distance onshore pipelines, and evaluation of pipeline defect applicability.
The two guidelines successfully passed the expert review, which not only shows that the quantitative risk assessment and in-service pipeline inspection technical specifications prepared by the company have been recognized by industry experts, but also forms the companys oil and gas pipeline integrity management technical specification system (see fig. 1) together with the "TG14007-2024 oil and gas pipeline high consequence area identification and quantitative risk assessment guidelines", marking another big step forward for the company in the field of oil and gas pipeline integrity. Subsequently, the technology center will continue to improve the oil and gas pipeline lines, station integrity management technical specification system, for the companys oil and gas pipeline integrity management technical service business to lay a good technical foundation.
