Recently, the National Pipe Network Group released the "14th Five-Year Inventory Green Benchmark" list. The four "zero carbon" projects undertaken by Xinjiang Branch were successfully selected by virtue of their outstanding achievements and innovative practices in the field of green and low carbon. This marks the National Pipe Network Groups high recognition of the achievements of the green and low-carbon service projects of Xinjiang Branch during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.
Since the 14th Five-Year Plan, under the leadership of project leader Xue Hongqiang, the green and low-carbon team of Xinjiang Branch has always aimed to promote green development and serve double carbon, taking the lead in realizing the breakthrough of the companys "zero carbon" business in the pipeline network system, deeply combining the core concept of "zero carbon China" with the actual needs of the low-carbon transformation and development of the national pipeline network, and working closely with many oil and gas transmission enterprises such as the Western Pipeline Company, it has initially formed a road suitable for the green and low-carbon development of enterprises in the field of long-distance oil and gas pipelines, and has become a banner of the green and low-carbon development of the National Pipeline Network Group. Up to now, 11 zero-carbon series certificates have been issued.
From "zero carbon production", "zero carbon hot work", "zero carbon factory" and other series of "zero carbon" concepts first proposed, to supporting systematic scheme design and formulation, training lectures, fine writing of standard documents, and then to the smooth landing of service results and certificate issuance, it really helps customers achieve the goal of low carbon emission reduction, it has also gradually established a set of practical experience with full process, specialization, replication and promotion, which has set a model of green and low-carbon development in the oil and gas pipeline industry.
In 2025, in response to the companys market goal of digging deep into major customers, Xinjiang Branch, in conjunction with many oil and gas long-distance pipeline enterprises such as Western Pipeline Company and Gansu Pipeline Network Company, and with the strong support of the competent department of the headquarters, issued the "Zero-carbon Oil and Gas Long-distance Pipeline Evaluation Standard" group standard, filling the gap in the "zero-carbon" guidance and evaluation standard in the field of long-distance oil and gas pipelines, more companies to further expand the oil and gas pipeline industry "zero carbon" business paved the way.
