On December 29, 2020, the Company issued the first compliance management system evaluation certificate to Guotou Qinzhou Power Generation Co., Ltd. in accordance with the ISO19600:2014(GB/T35770-2017) standard, which marked a new milestone in the development of the Companys compliance management system business.
Compliance management is the cornerstone of sustainable development of enterprises. In recent years, with the deepening of economic globalization, the international community and governments have formulated a number of laws and regulations to strengthen the compliance management of enterprises. China has also comprehensively promoted the rule of law, and the intensity and impact of regulatory control are increasing. Compliance is not only a problem of economic and reputation damage, but also the key to the life and death of enterprises. Enterprises urgently need to establish an effective compliance management system to prevent compliance risks. On November 2, 2018, SASAC issued the Guidelines for Compliance Management of Central Enterprises (for Trial Implementation), requiring central enterprises to establish and improve compliance management systems.
According to the requirements of SASAC and the needs of enterprise development, SDIC Group started the construction of compliance management system in 2020. Its subordinate unit, SDIC Qinzhou Power Generation Co., Ltd., is its first pilot unit. The establishment and implementation of compliance management system has been highly valued and supported by the leadership of SDIC Qindian. Through the evaluation of the compliance management system, the company has further strengthened its compliance awareness, established three lines of defense for compliance risks, and improved the level of compliance management.
