Recently, China Classification Society Quality Certification Co., Ltd. (CCSC) successfully passed the accreditation conversion review of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), became the first environmental information certification and verification institution (registration number: CNAS VV001-EI) to accept and pass the latest GHG approval standard of CNAS.

Since becoming a CNAS-approved GHG certification and verification body in April 2019, our company can carry out ISO14064-1 organization GHG declaration verification, 14064-2GHG emission reduction and removal increase project verification, and 14064-2GHG emission reduction and removal increase project validation business. This accreditation conversion review is implemented in accordance with the latest version of CNAS accreditation rules. At the same time, our company continues to maintain the accreditation qualification for GHG verification in the civil aviation field, and can carry out GHG verification business in the civil aviation field.
CCSC has been engaged in greenhouse gas certification and verification for many years, and holds important qualifications in the field of climate change at home and abroad, such as the designated operating entity (DOE) of the United Nations Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project, the gold standard (GS) project certification and verification agency authorized by the Gold Standard Committee, the VCS and CCB project certification and verification agency authorized by VEERA, and the China Voluntary Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Project (CCER) certification and Certification Agency) registered by the National Development and Reform Commission. CCSC will, as always, provide high-quality services to our customers with a fair, independent and honest policy, and make active efforts to implement the national "double carbon" goal and promote green, low-carbon and high-quality development.
ISO 14064 standards provide consistency, transparency and credibility for quantifying, monitoring, reporting and verifying greenhouse gas emissions and removals for use by organizations, project implementers and other stakeholders:
(1) The ISO14064-1 sets out the principles and requirements for the design, development, management and reporting of GHG inventories at the organizational (enterprise) level, including the requirements for determining GHG emission boundaries, quantifying GHG emissions and removals, and identifying specific measures or activities to organize and improve GHG management.
(2)ISO14064-2 are project-specific requirements for reducing GHG emissions or increasing GHG removals, including the principles and requirements for establishing a baseline scenario for the project and for monitoring, quantifying and reporting against the baseline scenario.
