On June 30, 2026, the "Shanghai International Shipping Green Fuel Sustainable Development Conference" co-sponsored by Shanghai Exchange Group and Shanghai International Port Group was held in Shanghai. He Qing, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, and Cen Yanqing, Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Transport, attended the conference and delivered speeches. More than 200 representatives from transportation authorities, industry organizations and industrial chain companies gathered at the scene to explore the development path of the shipping green fuel industry and help Shanghai International Shipping Center green and low-carbon transformation and upgrading. Fu Zhishen, deputy general manager of China Classification Society Quality Certification Co., Ltd. (CCSC), was invited to attend the meeting.
As the first institution in China to obtain the certification qualification of the Global Sustainable Transportation Certification System (GSTC), CCSC is deeply involved in the development of GSTC system rules, the establishment of audit standards and the whole process of landing operation, providing comprehensive technical support for the marketization of the system.
During the conference, Deputy General Manager Fu Zhishen witnessed the signing of the GSTC system on the spot, and on behalf of the company and the International Center of the Ministry of Communications jointly issued GSTC green fuel certification certificates to the first five enterprises that passed the GSTC system certification, including Zhongneng Construction Group, Hong Kong and China Gas Group, Shenneng Group, Shanggang Energy and Shanghai Huayi Holding Group. The certified enterprises cover the upstream and downstream core tracks such as green fuel production, port warehousing, energy trade, etc., fully demonstrating the certification service capability of the GSTC system for the entire shipping fuel industry chain, setting a benchmark for the green and low-carbon development of the industry, and strongly promoting the standardization and green upgrading of the shipping fuel industry chain.
At the meeting, our company and the International Center jointly signed a letter of intent for "GSTC system green marine fuel certification" with Shanghai Jiyuan, Yuanjing, Shanghai Lvchuang, China Power Engineering and other enterprises. In the future, it will provide green fuel certification services for more enterprises in the industrial chain.
