On the afternoon of August 28, the "Rule of Law Escorts Barrier-free Highlights New Achievements in Human Rights" series of theme pavilion days were grandly held at the Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall. This event is supported by the Social Construction Committee of the National Peoples Congress and the China Volunteer Service Foundation. It is jointly organized by the China Disabled Volunteers Association, the Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall, the China Disabled Association, and the barrier-free think tank cooperation unit. Tian Wei, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Classification Society Quality Certification Co., Ltd. (CCSC), was invited to attend the event and released the results of the integration of barrier-free environment certification and social credit system construction.
During the event, Chairman Tian Wei released the results of barrier-free environment certification and the integration of Chinas social credit system construction on the spot, showing CCSCs innovative exploration and practical responsibility in the field of barrier-free certification to all sectors of society.
Chairman Tian Wei pointed out: CCSC, as a professional third-party certification body, contributes to the achievement of barrier-free environment construction in China. In the past three years, my countrys barrier-free environment certification system has grown from scratch and has been continuously improved. CCSC strives to be the first in the field of barrier-free certification and is stable and far-reaching. Up to now, CCSC has issued 33 of the 37 barrier-free environment certification certificates issued nationwide.
The construction results of 8 institutions including the CCSC-certified National Barrier-Free Environment Exhibition Hall, Beijing Daxing International Airport, and Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport were all selected for the 2024 China Credit Co-construction Annual Recommendation List. In 2025, this credit achievement will be further expanded. In the annual recommendation list of credit co construction, another 14 units will be selected as "demonstration cases of barrier free environment construction of social credit in China". These include CCSC office building barrier-free environment certification cases, as well as the Beijing Palace Museum Cultural and Creative Integration Hall case, Guangzhou Disabled Sports Center barrier-free environment construction case, Alibaba Global Headquarters Visitor Center barrier-free environment construction case and other 13 cases are all certified by CCSC.
Chairman Tian Wei emphasized that the purpose of the certification and accreditation industry is to "deliver trust and service development", and it is a professional force that transforms integrity into social credit. In the global trading system, certification is an internationally accepted means of quality management and a key way to break down trade barriers, playing an important role in empowering the credit system. In the context of the domestic cycle and the construction of a unified national market, certification is an irreplaceable institutional support to ensure the free flow of goods and factors.
The results of barrier-free environment certification are transformed into identifiable and traceable credit data by virtue of their scientificity and fairness, providing an objective basis for social credit evaluation. The barrier-free certification results are integrated into the national credit system and widely accepted, which not only fully affirms the credibility of certification, but also injects new vitality into the construction of my countrys social credit system, forming a virtuous circle of "professional certification-credit acceptance-demonstration and leadership.
In the on-site commendation session, Chairman Tian Wei issued a commendation certificate to the representatives of the award-winning units of "barrier-free certification". Zhang Yi, General Manager of CCSC Barrier-free Environment Construction Service Promotion Center, issued a commendation certificate to the representatives of the award-winning units of "Barrier-free Good Achievements.
Guests of this event include Lu Shiming, member of the Standing Committee of the National Peoples Congress, chairman of the China Disabled Volunteers Association, and experts and scholars from various industry organizations. The activity set up three major sections: "Rule of Law Escort Policy Guarantee", "Practice Advocacy, Sharing and Promotion" and "Commendation Display and Enjoy Unlimited", which focused on the achievements of innovation and practice in the barrier-free industry and the inclusive value of peoples livelihood.
Lu Shiming said: Barrier-free construction is an important yardstick to measure the degree of social civilization, which is related to peoples livelihood and the overall situation of Chinese-style modernization. We must adhere to good law and good governance, promote the iterative upgrade of barrier-free construction from "yes or no" to "good or bad", build a full-chain closed-loop governance system, fully mobilize the forces of all sectors of society, let barrier-free results benefit all members of society, and continue to move towards "everyone Enjoy the development vision of barrier-free" steadily.
