On May 22, the three-day 2024 Container Multimodal Transport Asia Exhibition was grandly opened at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Hall. This exhibition was hosted by the China Container Industry Association. China Classification Society (CCS) was invited to participate and witnessed the opening ceremony. The "China Container Industry and Multimodal Transport Development Report" was released.
On March 22, 2024, a series of training on green and low-carbon transformation capacity building of Jiangsu steel industry organized by Jiangsu Provincial Department of ecological environment was successfully held in Nantong. (CCSC), as the undertaking unit of Jiangsu Provinces quality certification innovation pilot demonstration project "Research on Carbon Footprint Identification and CBAM Mechanism Information Disclosure of Iron and Steel Industry Chain", was invited to give lectures for this training.
On March 21, 2024, the annual meeting and 10th anniversary summary meeting of China Intelligent Transportation Industry Alliance was held in Beijing. (CCSC), as the governing unit of the alliance and the leader of the intelligent transportation product testing and certification working group, was invited to attend the meeting. Due to its outstanding contribution, CCSC won the Standard Technology Innovation Award of China Intelligent Transportation Industry Alliance, and Chu Xinxing, Director of CCSC Product Certification Business Operations, won the Outstanding Individual Award.
In order to implement General Secretary Xi Jinpings directive of "paying more attention to the management of the ocean" and speed up the construction of a world-class marine port, on March 14, the 2024 world-class port group construction (Weifang) project of Shandong Port was put into operation and the commencement ceremony of the new project was held in Weifang, Shandong Province. The meeting simultaneously released the "zero carbon port" creation plan of Shandong Port Bohai Bay Port Weifang Port Area. China Classification Society Quality Certification Co., Ltd.
