In 2020, is based on our country ICAO standards for carbon verification of civil airlines of the first year. Our company is the first to join the International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO) International Aviation Carbon Offset and Emission Reduction Program (CORSIA) Verification Agency, the first batch of civil aviation flight activities carbon emission verification agencies registered with the Civil Aviation Administration of China. Participation in civil aviation carbon emissions verification work, and other domestic industry carbon verification requirements are different, civil aviation carbon verification is a brand-new work, which has the characteristics of large data processing and high data quality requirements., and affected by the epidemic, but also face the reality of time constraints.
In 2020, we signed an audit contract with a Chinese airline to provide civil aviation carbon verification services for 2019. The airline is the airline with the largest number of transport aircraft, the most developed route network and the largest annual passenger volume in China, and its fleet size and passenger traffic are among the highest in the world. , nearly 100 sorties flown in 2019 10,000 times, involving both aircraft wet lease and aircraft escrow operations, the composition of IT system is complex, and the verification technology is difficult. Our company sends professionals to form an audit team to audit the project. Because it is the first year of civil aviation carbon verification work, many work is started from scratch, in the face of difficulties, our companys audit team in the complex data, in a variety of materials to find proof, and strive to ensure the quality of data, the competent departments and customers have a satisfactory account.
Through a week-long audit, the audit team started with the airlines carbon emission system and compared it with the airlines internal production statistics system and external air traffic control data, and found that there were slight differences between the summary data of its carbon emission system and the airlines internal statistics and external air traffic control data. Through spot checks over1000 flight original documents, found that the airlines carbon emissions system calculation rules are unreasonable resulting in slight deviations in carbon emissions data. The audit team visited the statistics department, the operation command center, the IT department, the flight team, the ground service department, the finance department and other departments, and finally determined the emission data and formed a complete verification report.
The relevant suggestions on improving carbon emission management put forward by the audit team were recognized by the airline, which provided strong support for further improving the management of carbon dioxide emission data of civil aircraft. The quality of the report was affirmed by the Civil Aviation Administration and successfully passed the review of the Civil Aviation Administration. It has laid a good foundation for the enterprises carbon emission management in the future.
